My husband Obina and I wanted a cruise, so we signed up for Wight Pirate Radio. We have only been back to Africa once and that was to bring his mother along.

It seems like I'm the only one who works around here, which is why I enjoy my quiet time so much. I find that good music, the swish of the waves and the twinkling stars always gives the perfect end to a day's work.

Some sing "music was my first love" but while they are doing that I'm rummaging through Cooks cupboards so food is mine. I've been serving Capt. Jose Fernandez so long that I've forgotten where home once was. To me home is out on the open seas, yo ho!

Hello my lovlies, I signed up because my life was heading nowhere,.I couldn't decide what I wanted to do so I went to sea and have never looked back since. To wake up with the sun out on the water is priceless. I chip in where I can but I'm still waiting for a designated role onboard. But I can sew so I fix the sails and the men's socks when needed.

Hello, I'm Emily. My mum left my Dad and took me with her on this cruise, but I'm still trying to find the grand staircase and swimming pool. I have a friend here, his name is Hugo. He's a funny cheeky boy but everyone loves him so he's fun to be around.

Hello I'm Hugo. I was running away and slept in a chest I found onboard this ship. Next thing I know, I'm out on the open seas having a great time. The whales are huge out here and it makes me jump when they blow their noses. Everyone is so nice and they look after me. I am finding out that life is a real adventure, if you let it.

I am Ezine. Obina is my boy and his wife is like a daughter to me. I never thought I would have so much fun at my age but it is beautiful out here... the sunsets, the views, the dancing and singing. Wight Pirate Radio is such a lovely place to be.

I'm down below in the ship's studio. I can always tell by the cheers and the dancing if the crew are having a good time. I go up on deck during the day to soak up the sea air then back down here for the evening shows. Thanks for listening to Wight Pirate Radio. I hope we have many joyous years together.
